Now in its eighth year, the Luxury Law Summit Europe 2021 will be held on 22 September at the British Museum in London.
As one of the most prestigious gatherings in the luxury sector, the summit brings together general counsel and global luxury business leaders and specialist legal teams to discuss the latest challenges and opportunities in the business of luxury. The event will also feature the Luxury Law Summit Awards with a host of new categories (listed below).
This year’s summit will explore how industry can capitalise on opportunities in the new ‘Roaring Twenties’ with keynote speakers including luxpreneurs Laudomia Pucci, Kristina Blahnik and Ceanne Fernandes-Wong, CEO and co-founder of Cocoon. Other speakers include Anita Balchandani, Partner and Leader, EMEA Apparel, Fashion & Luxury Group, McKinsey & Co who will share predictions for the future whilst Joanne Loughrey, Associate General Counsel, L’Oréal and Lucy Loveridge, Talent Advisor, Gleam will discuss the longterm future for the Influencer bubble.
The one-day conference will explore topics including: The new digital marketplace and accelerated growth of online retail; The emergency of high-end luxury digital assets and NFTs; Increasing adoption of blockchain technologies by the luxury industry; The growth of ESG-related considerations amongst consumers; Technology and its ongoing influence on the luxury and fashion worlds; The rise of resale, rental and re-use; How brands should navigate the new influencer media landscape; Sustainability in the luxury and circular economy; Pandemic geo-politics and the luxury sector and Privacy and data security.
