Jean-Mathieu Bertho is a partner of Jacobacci Avocats and manages its Paris office. He is an experienced IP lawyer and specializes in copyright, registered designs and trade mark enforcement, litigation, customs surveillance and has an extensive practice in competition law. He works alongside his team to provide comprehensive advice, support and litigation skills to clients both locally and internationally. His clients operate in a diverse range of sectors such as (mainly luxury) fashion and design. Jean-Mathieu graduated from the University of Rouen with a post graduate degree in International Law in 1998. He lectured at the University of Rouen in Civil Law from 1998 to 2000, and in Customs Law (customs' role in the enforcement of Intellectual Property) and International Law from 2004 to 2008. He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2002. He is a member of APRAM.
